It was filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and New York, with the participation of the Mestre Pastinha, Joao Grande, Joao Pequeno, Curió, Gildo Pin, Neco Pelourinho, Ângelo Decâneo, and also of Jorge Amado, Carybé, Pierre Verger, Ildásio Tavares, Reynivaldo Brito, Muniz Sodré, and the widow of Mestre Pastinha, D. Romélia.

Shot in 16mm and Hi-8mm, this video represents a rare opportunity to get to know the fundamentals of Capoeira Angola and the life of its greatest master, Pastinha!
