The Brazilian wish bracelets are made in Bahia and are a symbol of both faith and luck. The Bahia Bands are more than just a fashion accessory, they are a good luck charm. The writing on the ribbon says ”Lembrança do Senhor do Bonfim da Bahia”, or in remembrance of the savior of Bahia, or Souvenir from the God of Bahia.

The Bracelets are meant to have3 knots tied in them at the time of wear. With each knot, you are supposed to make 1 wish (3 wishes total). Legend has it, that when the bracelet breaks for falls of, your wishes will come true.
