Utah Valley Capoeira is owned by Arles Lara (Monitor Espeto), and is affiliated with the capoeira group Capuraginga, under the guidance of Mestre Loka. Utah Valley Capoeira is associated with the Portuguese Dual Immersion program in the state of Utah, and supports the capoeira club at BYU. The instructors travel the country learning and teaching all aspects of the martial art.
