(This local group falls under the umbrella of the parent organization Raça em Movimento – that means: a people in movement).

Ever since he first read about the Brazilian Martial Art in an article printed on the back of publication of Teen Times, combined with his first encounter of the artform on a random Sunday at Mullet Bay, he has not stopped sharing Capoeira with others.
During the years Jacques has been sharing and teaching Capoeira to various age groups throughout the world. He has attended and taught at various events in Europe, the United States and the Caribbean was also part of a few stage productions including: “Total Theater” (SXM), “Soualiga Capoeira Presents: The Calling”, “The Fire Within” (SXM) and “The Little Mermaid”(Saba).
In 2018 he was graduated to the rank of Instrutor
(instructor) and has since returned to St. Maarten after
10 years of living abroad, to help lead the resurgence of

Capoeira locally under the guidance of his Mestre
Graveto and Mestre Efraim Silva.
